I’ve had fish about a year now. I started with 3.5 gal and upgraded about 3 weeks ago to 20 gal hex. Unfortunately, my 2 fish didn’t survive the transition. So I let my new tank cycle these past 3 weeks. Still learning about the hobby, and love being a novice aquarist.

That's too bad your fish didn't make it but don't get discouraged. That sort of thing happens to everyone at some time or another no matter what level of experience. You will get a lot of enjoyment out of your bigger tank. Welcome to the Forum.
