Hi, firstly thank you for letting me join your forums. My name is Christine and I live in Rochdale, UK. A family member had a large tank in the past but this will be just mine. Before I start my first community tank I have been reading as much as I can on various sites. My main concern is knowing how much extra stuff I need to get going. How much soil/gravel do i need, how many plants etc for my size tank so I sure there will be lots of questions - hope that's ok

It's a good idea to take your time choosing the right equipment. Manufacturers and retail will convince you it's all essential, then you end up with a cupboard full of stuff that you have no use for!
