Hi, nice to meet you all!
My interest in aquatic creatures started near the beginning of the UK lock downs. I had 2 aquariums in my house, one is my dad's goldfish tank, the other is a 110L tropical setup I bought for my dad as a birthday present. I hadn't really been interested in the fish, I would stop to have a little look in passing, but I wouldn't stay long, until I'd noticed one of my dad's orange and black mollies was looking a little chunkier than usual. I mean, it looked like it was about to expload!
After doing a bit of research, I found out that SHE was pregnant! Little did I know what I was about to get myself into...
I came to the tank multiple times a day to check for babies, and finally, one morning I found what I was looking for! 'Hooray! But, oh wait, is she trying to eat them!? OMG! SHE'S EATING THEM!?'
Immediately I'm on amazon looking for a small tank and filter. I paid about £120 for a fluval spec 19L. It came next day, I set it up, then remembered that I'd need some time to let it cycle. I jumped online to see what I could do in this situation, found out about breeding nets and headed down to my not so local fish store to pick a couple up!
Not too long after cycling my new tank, it started to become over populated. I gave most of young mollies to my not so local fish store and started to prepare for the next few batches by buying a couple 60L plastic storage containers and sponge filters.
Two and a half years later Im ten tanks deep and dreaming of the day I can own a tank, pond, or a lake big enough to swim in with my lovely aquatic beauties!
I've a 350L planted community tank, a 160 bristlenose breeder, my dad's original 110 is now a yellow tiger endler breeder. I've 160 hillstream loach/pygmy cory community, which could be a potential breeder tank. Two 60L grow out tanks, one of which may potentially become a Japan Blue/gold breeder, and three 15-25 litre tanks for quarantining/half way homes. Oh, and a 140ish goldfish tank that'll probably need an upgrade soon! Goldfish grow pretty big, huh?!

Welcome, you'll find that this is a welcoming community filled with experts in various fields glad to help.
I'm fairly new to the hobby with only 2 tanks but I think I'm coming down with MTS (multiple tank syndrome) .
Some pictures would be nice ;).

Thanks!
I'm currently in the middle of doing water changes and cleaning filters, after that's all done, I'll get some pictures posted 👍

Hi & welcome to TFF... :hi:
You're suffering from the Multiple Tank Syndrome... Like a serious number of us do as well... And there's still no cure...! And guess what...? We don't wanna be cured...

Sorry for the delay! I started to feel very ill during the day I made the post, just managing to get back on my feet now!
Here's a few pics for now, I'll get some more later today once the lights go on 👍

Hello! I have been fishkeeping since, well, probably october 2020! I have had MANY problems with diseases, to the point of having to buy a quarantine tank, move ALL my fish over, and then treat with copper. It used to be that one or two would die every week. Ugh. The ones that survived are kind of all right now though, which is good. I have a 60l community tank with, well, what it says in my signature! I am glad to have found TFF!

Oh no 😱

Hello, but AAAAAAAAAARGH! Horrendous 🤢🥴
