Some of us do it the old fashioned way, we go to work to earn money which we save until we have enough to buy the tanks we want...........then others just take out horrendous loans and max out our credit cards

I got my main tank from ebay, lots of bargins to be had

apart from that I have just been building up slowly, although yes, as CFC pointed out the credit cards do sometimes get a beating

My self & Lady Minion both have full time jobs, plus I make a little extra selling prints of my art.

Also, we look for bargains.

We bought a used Juwel rio 240 (240L) with stand today for £220 via aquarist-classifies.co.uk.

Also, we drive a crappy car, don't drink, don't smoke and don't go clubbing.

The most expensive part of my tank are is the filter which set me back about 45 bucks but everything else I got for free or next to nothing from other people giveaways

I got my 25g from my b/f as a anniversary gift, I got my second 25g for free b/c it had a minor crack, the rest of my tanks I saved up and spent my savings on lol. But my b/f paid for half of the new tanks as well. I've bought so much stuff from this one store that everytime i go in i get 10% off.
