Hi, need a new heater mine is rubbish. What ones would you all recommend? Someone did tell me a good one but I can't remember what it was. I think it was Jager?

Are you running an external filter or not? If so what one...you have the option for an external heater if you do which I'd highly recommend

Hiya, no I got an internal one. The Fluval U2. I've only got a 60l see (though I do think external ones look like they must be less hassle).

No space taken up in the tank, and nothing can get hurt as easily if something goes wrong.

No idea on internals TBH, I have a Fluval for backup (parts that came with the tank) and it seems fine...

What filter do you want to replace?

Lol my heater you mean. It's an Elite one, also came with the tank. I already replaced the filter (Stingray - rubbish and ugly) because it broke, which is when I got the Fluval but I'm also not that impressed with the heater. It seems to have a range of about 4 degrees wherever I set it and although I know outside factors can influence it I think it should be more precise than that. Fortunately I have no fish yet so it's not a big issue but I definitely one a reliable one for when I do get them.

I would get a fluval heater as I know they're good and reliable (I've had no issue with them anywway)
