I'm planning my new tank and need a few pointers.
The idea is to have all plants on substrates* I can move to A ) clean the gravel underneath during water changes B ) do trimming outside the tank (no messy offcuts, no hassling fish, take my time).
The only problem I'm forseeing is having things attach to the gravel such as moss on steel mesh or 'real' plants such as Eleocharis that root into substrate. I would like a carpet but one I can move. Is it possible?
*Substrate wise I have larger pebbles and wood. I have stainless steel & fine plastic meshes on order as well as fine black fishing line. Tank (AquaNano 22L) is still dry so no plants ordered yet.
