Just got a test. Can you tell me if my water is soft or hard?

Agree, that seems to be soft. They do not give their unit of measurement, but 107 is not very likely to be in degrees (this would almost be solid rock!) so presumably it is ppm. And 107 ppm equates with 6 dGH, and this is soft. The hobby uses these two units.

The pH is 6.9, and the KH is low (33, again likely ppm) which means the pH will tend to lower as the aquarium establishes. Which is good, because fish from soft water almost always prefer slightly acidic to acidic pH.

Ok thank you. I can’t seem to find a good chart that actually says hard vs soft water with the measurements

Terms like "hard" and "soft" are subjective, there is no scientific calibration for these, which is why the terms can be misleading. But this chart from an article I wrote on parameters some years ago is a good guide. Can't remember where I found it, but I have seen near-identical from time to time.

0 - 4 dGH or 0 - 70 ppm very soft
4 - 8 dGH or 70 - 140 ppm soft
8 - 12 dGH or 140 - 210 ppm moderately hard
12 - 18 dGH or 210 - 320 ppm fairly hard
18 - 30 dGH or 320 - 530 ppm hard
over 30 dGH or over 530 ppm very hard
