hello,

I have a 20 gallon tank with 4 female guppies, 5 galaxy rasboras, and 5 panda cories. One of my 4 guppies has what looks to be a red bite out of her fin! my water parameters are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 5 nitrates, 7 PH. she is a new addition to my tank and I got her because she was in a tank full of males being chased at the storeā€¦ her fins seemed fine when I got her but itā€™s also possible one of my females nipped her. My question isā€¦ could this redness mean itā€™s fin rot? and if my parameters are good could it heal on its own? or should she be separated and medicated? Iā€™m currently cycling another tank for fry so I donā€™t have one available for her at the moment. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Add some salt. Use 2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt for every 20 litres of water. Keep salt in there for 2 weeks.
