Fish Crazy
Help!
I have a ten gallon tank with two amazon swords and an Anubis plant. I have 6 fish in my tank, water parameters are good, and the tank is heated and has fluorescent lighting. Since I've started a tank with live plants, they've all slowly died off and caused an ENORMOUS amount of waste production in my tank. The swords aren't even in poor shape, nor is the anubis. but when I siphon my gravel the water comes out dingy and tons of dead plant material is siphoned out. When I add water, other plant material is shot everywhere. My water quality right now is wretched because of plant waste. I have taken them out and siphoned as much as I can but I feel like I end up with more gunk just one week later!
I promise I'm not misinterpreting this for fish waste.
I do not add plant food to my tank, as the list of ingredients in such food seems to be readily available in my h2o because I use well water.
Someone please help me figure out what's going on with my tank!!!! This is so frustrating!!!
