I just found a Jewel Recork 60 in to to bad shape with light, hood no filter or heater though oh well. I wonder what i should turn thhis bad boy into??? Any sugestions i dont really want to go with heavily planted or cichlids.

Awww, I wanted to guess. An old rubber boot, naw a licence plate... see, much more fun than just giving out the answer. :D

Tanganyikan shelldwellers! I'd love to set up one of those. You said it's a 70 liter tank, right? That would be a good size for shellies.

Has the black box been taken out, if so good you can add a decent filter.

yeah it has the filter is gone i wanna add a fluval 104 or 105 i think. i just been looking i think i might also want a couple of harlequin rosoboras(excuse spelling).

Yeah am i right in saying theyr'e quite small like 1 3/4" so i reckon i can have like 10 but ill probably only get like 6 or 7 and i have seen pics of them swimming in lines and it looks really cool. Any other sugestions ppl???

You could add 3-4 Kuhli loaches, I find mine quite amusing. Or perhaps some cories, maybe C.habrosus.

I think these would go nicely with raspboras.

yeah my harlequin rasbora's are my fave small fish, dead active and gorgeous and hardy as anything, never had a problem with a single 1 of them :D

i'm just about to change my little tank around and i'm going for lots of colour and movement so just nice little fishes like tetra's/platy's/guppy's/molly's

just to make a right pretty tank. :D

Here is the tank. Nice considering its free. I just cleanced it and tested the lights.

Unless you've seen it up and running, I suggest you put it somewhere that you aren't worried about water damage like a garage or outside, and leak test it for a day or so. Put it with some tissue under the edges and you'll see any water seeping out.

^^^ Good advice :good:

You lucky so-and-so ! How does one just "find" a tank like that free???

:hyper: what ? Like you literally just "found" it and picked it up ?!
