I would like to have some green algae growing on my rocks and drift wood.......I think it looks cool..
Is threre away to grow it???

I'm not sure on an exact technic, but a high amount of nitrates help ( such as mine coming out of the tap at 40 ppm), and lots of light, maybe allow the tank to be exposed to indirect sunlight each day, my 42 hex is in a room where the light from a window hits it a little and there's green algae everywhere

also that white unsightly algae turns into the dark green stuff

there's a lady on ebay who I buy all of my SNAIL FREE plants from (tycom-1 ...little plug there for her :D ) and she has some algae moss type stuff which you can attach to rocks and such, she sent me some one time with a large order so I wound some fishing line around it and made it into a ball, threw it in the tank, and it attached itself and began spreading on my driftwood
