Growing Crypts Emmersed

Hey there....I have a small herb garden in my spare bedroom. The soil is always kept moist but not totally wet. I have an empty spot next to the herbs and would like to grow crypts. Is damp soil enough in this setup, or would this be ineffective??? The area gets plenty of sunlight...

It's better to keep the leaves moist if possible, like in some kind of propagator so that it stays humid, but you could always try it and see - be an interesting experiment!
