Hi guys,
Looking for ground cover recommendations for a 10 gal. tank. If it's not practical with the setup as is just say so. I have a fairly large diameter gravel base and a 15 watt light at the moment. I can only upgrade the lamp to 19watt with the current fixture. (Side question: how long should i be running the light? I currently have it set for 4 hours in the evening. The room is pretty bright).
The existing plants are a few bunches of Anacharis and a couple bunches of Cabomba in the back corner with a piece of wood with Java Fern in the mid-ground on the same side and Micro Sword in front of that. It looks pretty good but leaves the other 2/3 of the tank empty and I'd like to fill it in with a ground cover if possible. My local store can get me Dwarf Baby Tears but that's about it.
Tank temp is 72 and ph around 7.2.
No fauna yet. Still cycling.
