Hi Iā€™ve had GSPā€™s for a while now and we have 4 small (3-5cm) in a 300 litre tank. Now we have always had 1 that constantly had a dark belly while the others have a very white belly and bright colours. We have tested everything in the water which is all perfect. We have a spoke to a fish shop that recommends getting a couple more as it may be just pushed out of the group and is stressed because itā€™s lonely. Which we have noticed he is always trying to stay clear of the other 3. I will attach a photo to show the GSP and one that is perfectly fine but seeking advice on anyone that has any other advice!
Thankyou

So sad! Is he getting food?
Color on his back looks good, though.
Can you let us know how things turned out?
I've got one Dwarf Pea.

Is he in a brackish tank? GSP require brackish water to survive they usually only display this dark blackened belly when they're extremely stressed. I would recommend doing an immediate 50% water change and if he's not in brackish water make sure he is very soon. If he is in brackish it's probably likey what your store described and he may possibly be stressed for another reason.
