Green Is The New Red This Valentines!

Just received an interesting valentines gift this morning. I'm a guy so of course i wasn't expecting flowers lol but i did i get a 4-foot tall potted guava shrub.

I was like, seriously?! @#$!% (to be child friendly)..

But wait there's more..

Closer inspection reveals that there are 6 critters amongst the leaves.

(Drum roll) *teneng!*

Not a really big fan of insects coz they're short-lived and i don't wanna get attached but now i think i'm turning a lew leaf, literally LOL

Yes, they are! My stalker (joke) who gave it said i should replace the whole shrub with a new one after every 2 weeks. I live nearby a plant nursery so it wouldn't be a problem to do so.

Nope. The plant was too big and if i'd fit to size, you won't be able to see any of the bugs at all haha

Leaf Insect.. They're really nice. They don't fly around, moves slow and doesn't bite

Won't they escape the bush though?
Be sure to mist their bush once every 1-2 days so they have something to drink.

Day 2 night 2 and they're all still here. 5 of them barely moved from the same spot since yesterday haha

I figured it would be something obvious like that, but I searched leaf bug and it didn't look quite like them. Searched leaf insect and boom.
