Gravel

i have just bought my new tank and was wondering what to put on the bottom weather i should go with some colourful gravel but i really like the small gravel type stuff its very fine granuals but am i able to put this in my tank as im adding corys

small gravel is fine with corys.

Corys like sand the best, a smaller gravel will work.

Sand is good for corys, and the sand looks much nicer.

I agree fine gravel is better. If your thinking of getting fish that have bright red/oranges like rasboras and platys the fine gravel will bring their colours out more.

If your thinking of getting sand, get play sand, it's cheap and effective!
