when i was feeding my fish i noticed a giant white spot on his head. i dont know what it is. It is about 1cm in diameter. It seems perfectly fine and healthy. i am not sure if he bumped his head a few days ago. my gourami is pink all over so the spot is really noticable. i havent turned on the heater for a while now since it has been so hot in my house and when i checked the temp it felt like around 75 or so degrees. my water levels are pretty normal so i dont think its the water. i always have my UV on so chances for bacteria are slim.
please help

Gourmamis are prone to bacterial infections, spots on the head can be columnaris spots, is it fluffy, or a greyish whitish spot, with a circling of red on the ousdie of the spot, or does it have a red spot in the centre of it.

I would treat it as bacterial, as my x rays tetra had two little patches on the head, i treated him with antibiotic, and some methylene blue it went in aday, as it can be columnaris.
