Two of my ghost shrimp are full of eggs. The eggs in one are white and the eggs in the other are green. Any reason?

I noticed yesterday that these two started working their back legs (underneath the eggs) and they were placing their pincers inside the crevices to get at the eggs. I believe they were eating the eggs, but their movements were too fast and they weren't taking the eggs out in great quantities.

Is this because the eggs had fungus or because the females were hungry? I feed them quite a bit, so I don't think that's it. I feed them bloodworms and flakes and they seem pretty full.
