Hi guys. Been five days since the rescape and had a littlw ammonia spike, but gradually getting it down, it was at 0.25ppm today. Now I read it is normal for Corys to lighten up to match the substrate.Baring in mind ive gone one extreme to the other. Dark Gravel to light sand....
I can deal with that with most of them, but my 2nd big female is almost transparent!! She seems well, moving like the rest, eating, pooping the kinda things fish do. Should I be worried? Ive been doing daily 30% water changes to get on top of ammonia, but my othet parameters are pretty good with 0 nitrite and 10-20 nitrate.

You can see in pic below just how much lighter she is with the male next to her, and he is a fair bit lighter than previous...

I really don't see anything worrying if the fish is eating, pooping and stuff. I would just keep up with water changes to bring the levels down to 0ppm.
