...and I don't want to tear down all the plants and wood to catch them.

Long story short, these are the cycling fish, I had already planted and decorated to tank with stuff from my old tank to help cycle it, I managed to get three of the six feeder rosy reds but the three in there are too hard to catch...
I tried just putting the net in there and fed them waiting for on to get near the net scoop'em out, still too fast. These guys are eating all the food before the teras can get any...

Is there anyting other than a bigger net that would help get rid of them? some kinda trap, even if it traps all the fish, i have another tank to sort them.

I was about to say if they are feeder fish, then get fish that eat them. But then I saw you already have tetras. So just keep netting away. :/

I always take everything out and decrease the water till about half way. That's how I catch mine.

a bigger net allways works

keep chasing them untill they get tierd

eventualy youl catch them

watch out for overstressed fish you could kill them on accident

Don't feed them for 2 days. Take a clean glass jar & submerge it with some food in it. When they go in, put the net over the opening & take them out jar & all.

the easiest way is to get a spatula and your net and just corner them off its easy

I don't have patience, so it's either starve them and make some kind of trap like Tolak said.

I might also try to get them when they're sleeping, these guys sleep on the bottom of the tank so they might be less jitery at night. Maybe drop a jar onto of them while they're sleeping(they sleep together) and slide something under the jar, flip it and take'em out.

iveread that you can make a bottle trap by covering one end in clingfilm with a slit just large enough to swim through, bait it with food and hopefully they will go for it

similar Tolak's idea
