1x redtailed shark
5x zebra danio
4x albino cory
1x sunburst platy
1x molly
1x chineese algea eater( will be moved to another aquarium when its cycled )

Recommendations/Warnings/Suggestions/Notes:

  • Note: Red Tailed Black Shark may jump - lids are recommended.
  •
  • Recommended temperature range: 71.6 - 75.2 F.
    Recommended pH range: 7 - 7.5.
    Recommended hardness range: 11 - 15 dH.

You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is161%.
Recommended water change schedule: 16% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 63%.

Hiya, I'm a bit confused by you saying you'll move the algae eater when the tank is cycled.
Are you not cycling it before adding all of those fish?

I can't remember if it's the chinese or siamese algae eater that is agressive, hopefully someone else can say on that.
The tetras, danios, and corys need to be in groups of 6+.

Zebra danios are temperate rather than tropical so it might be best if you decided against those, although like you've said your wife and kids picked them.

I have a 55 gallon thats almost finished fishless cycling. and I just bought a 200 gallon that i will be setting up this weekend so it will be a month or to before its ready

Ah okay, thank you for clearing that up for me. :) Looking forward to seeing how both of them turn out.

Some notes.

One, don't use any online aquarium calculators, they are dodgy and inaccurate.

Two, the Tetras and Corys need schools of at least 6.

Three, Danios are subtropical fish that do better at temperatures of around 20*C.

Four, please, do not get chinese algae eating fish, as they age they become extremely aggressive and can kill your fish. When they're older they don't even eat algae! Many have been known to suck scales and injure fish badly!

Five, it may be best if you get more Platies and Mollys, although they are not schooling fish, they enjoy company of their own species. Also, unless you want to have fry, make sure to get either all males or all females.

Six, Red tailed sharks can be aggressive so keep an eye on yours and be prepared to remove it if any aggression occurs.
