As some of you know I have decided to stop breeding angels. With 40 tanks and 12 breeding pair it just got to be too much. Besides it stopped being fun and turned more into a chore/hassle. My web site is no longer active either. When it gets to be like that its time to stop. Of course I'll still be popping in here and helping out where I can.

How about switching to other species, instead of stopping completely?

Sorry to hear that, KH. Are you going to continue fish keeping?

Hope to see you around soon. :)

I should have ordered that article of clothing from ya before the site shut down.  (just kidding!)

Hi KnuckleHead

I'm sorry to hear that. Won't you reconsider and maybe just cut back a bit? I know what kind of work fishkeeping is, but it does have its good aspects too.

Whatever you do, please do stop by and stay in touch. Your experience and knowledge of the hobby are valued by all of us.

I'm sorry to hear that too , looking after one spawn would be a hassle let alone 12!

I'm sure now that your stopping the breeding side of things you could always make a few ollars when you sell 12 pairs!

Good luck :)

sorry to hear that :(

why dont u start breeding kribs or sumthing fun?

Well good luck with whatever you decide to do with your freetime and I hope you are happy with your new lifestyle and also that your enthusiasm returns in due course.

Arfie

That is a shame KH but I fully understand what you mean.

"If things aint fun, they shouldn't be done"

Will we still be able to tap you up for info and advice?? I sincerely hope so as I have 3 angels one of which is reguarly spawning........ ^_^

Have fun in your newly found freetime :flowers:

With 40 tanks its no longer a hobby, but an obsessive pursuit, I guess you burned-out yourself by too many tanks... sell some of you fish and your tanks, and with that money get different species.

Sorry to hear that.

I read a article in a magazine about burning out your fishkeeping hobby. By too many tanks and it not becomming fun anymore.

Ive been doing this for close to 10 years now. Its time for me to step back and start to enjoy myself again. The vast majority of my stock and equipment has already been spoken for except for the few items I posted in the buy/sell/swap section. Im not giving up fish completely. I still have my display tanks that arent going anywhere. I'll be pooping in and out of here helping where ever I can so if you have questions feel free to PM or email me anytime.
Thanks, Ed
