Fingers crossed this goes better than the last attempt!
I'm getting 4 female apisto. cacatuoides next tuesday. 2 girls are from 1 set of parents and the other 2 from another set, both are a cross over from home bred and a wild strain, neither parents are related. So hopefully, these make a difference! I've asked for bigger females this time round, instead of getting them just under an inch.
I've rehomed the GBR's, turns out they aren't the easiest to keep and I'd rather get them to a good home, rather than continuely having to mess about with the water etc, to suit them (don't worry, they went to someone who has sucsessfully kept GBRs for 4yrs, only deaths he's had, is due to age).
I am going to focus on the apistos now and hopefully Bruce (male), won't be so lonely. He seems to be endlessly giving me puppy eyes through the tank
Fingers crossed!
