So iv just got my self some gbr the other day 3 females 1 male planning on getting 1 more female an m1 more male. Has anyone tired to breed these? I also have 6 black widow tetras 2BN 6 pep Corey's a large peace of bog wood an live plants

GBRs form pairs. You'd be better off getting 2 more males.

I have tried breeding them, but after some initial success things changed at work and I had less time to look after them, and they went back in the community tank.

I'm not sure the peppered corys will like the higher temperatures the rams live in. Don't they live in subtropical temperatures?
You might want to restock with some sterbai corys instead

Don't know about the tetras, but not many fish are comfortable at 28 celsius.

I have my tank at 27 an iv never heard of the corys been sub tropical :S an my male is swimming sidewas with one of the females an like almost jaw locking with each other but doesn't look like there fighting is that a good thing? All are really bright in coulor especially the females the pink is really bright

They sometimes pair up real quick.

It's not all corys that are subtropical, but the peppered ones are. They will live in tropical temperatures, but the higher range will be uncomfortable for them, and will shorten their lifespan.

It right never new that an I got it wrong I haven't got 6 pep iv got 3 an 3 bronze don't know why I said 6 haha iv had them a while so ill try an get them swapped for some differant ones

my rams don't seem interested in breeding, but my kribs have already spawned once (and eaten them) I've had the rams longer.

I had pair of kribs once but tbh they wasn't my taste but maybe one day I may try them again when I'm older an got more space I want to try to breed as many fish as I can :)

just moved my kribs from my community tank to my fry tank (one lonely guppy fry in it) and a couple fatty females so I hope they get busy again and are less stressed so I can have some bebes

Yeah I've heard they like to get down quick haha, you had any look at betas was looking at gettin a 15 L tank to try an breed them never even kept females before

I used to keep a female betta in my community tank, but I've never tried breeding, just guppies and now the kribs, and I didn't even need to try! they just did it

Yeah more times than not the guppys are already haha
But yeah one day I want to try breed the hardest of fishes

I've had 2 since I stated fish keeping around 3/4 year ago I'm sure there both opposite sex an they have never even got close enough to see each other always at differant ends of the tank
