I have an eight-year-old cherry barb who has developed some type of spinal arthritis. His poor tail is bent in a permanent zig-zag. I don't think that there is much that I can do for him, but I also have two other cherry barbs who are both four-years-old. Is there anything that I can add to their diet to help prevent (or at least slow down) the onset of this? If there is, would it help my arthritic one too? I am not too optimistic that there is anything that will, but I apreaciate your thought.

Why oh why isn't there a Joint Maintaince diet for fish?! >__<

One last question. Is there anything special that I should be doing for geriatric fish in gerneral?

You should be proud! Your cherry barb has lived a long life! Good luck to him!
