My mom went to a garage sale today and called me. She says thet they have a 30g tall marine tank set up! OMG the price almost made me s*** my self. $10! The same price as thje 10g i got on sunday! I'm going out to pick it up tommarow or saturday. I need to know everything their is to know about keeping a marine tank.

LOL, the same thing happene to me a while back but the same day. The neighborhood yard sale days. I got a 10gal, hood, filter for $10. Later that day I was driving aroundthe next door town and nearly drove off the road trying to see a fishtank that was out. This one was a 25 gallon, some undergravel crap and a bunch of deco stuff....$10. Since then I haven't found squat anywhere in this area.

yea, i've been wanting to do a marine tank for a long time. Plus i have nothing going on after school anyway besides maybe a day of work like twice mybe three times a week. I just took the time and read the stuff in the marine section and it said long/shallow is better than short/deep becuase of lighting factors. I think tommarow, i'll have my brother drive me into the lfs and ill ask him if he will trade a 30 tall for a 30 long.

EDT- The tank comes with everything! even some live rock and the coral is hanging out at some petshop the lady had hold onto it.

yea! i probly could easly sell this setup on ebay for atleast $400-550! but i've wanted a marine for so long and their so expencive and all but HEY I just saved like $1500! I feel like the luckyest person ever :kana:

thats nuts.. i hear its hard to keep marine fish.. make sure you know what your doing before you start putting money into it.. but good luck! sounds like a steal and a half
