Fuzzy white stuff on floater roots

I have some volunteer duckweed? It's looking beautiful but what is this on the roots?

Organic matter most likely. Not a problem as such, but when it gets really thick it might mean an organic issue such as insufficient water changes, overfeeding,overstocking, too few filtr claims and water changes, etc. Nos sying any of those are relavent here, just what can cause it.
 
If your water's good, then I think that they may simply be the fine root hairs, drawing in nutrients from the water.
in my experience duckweed dosent have that...
it very likely may just be some slime, but duckweed usually beats the slime or literally anything
