Hi all,

I have a 7 Gallon (UK) tank, it currently has 8 Copper Harlequins & 6 ammano shrimp. Am I maxed out with my stock?

I would like to add a corydoras species or a plectomus of some type. Is this pushing my stocking limits?

i would say yes most definately
sorry!
8 of those harlequins is a lot, anything is going to push the bioload over the edge, and on investigating most sites say 10 gallon is their minimum tank size for that species

the only real plec or cory that could possibly cope in a 7 gallon is an oto or a pygmy cory species, but i don't think you have room for them.

I can see why your saying that my Harlequins are tiny maybe 1.5cm, but I have seen some rather large ones (3cm or more)! Cheers for the advice.
