When I turned my tank lights on this morning I realised this fish had white markings on it. I am currently getting rid of an ammonia spike. Think it was caused by the bristlenose kicking all their eggs out then they started to fungus and I didn’t realise. Also when I feed them they kick their food in between their caves sometimes. I have know learnt to siphon in between The caves to get up all left over food amd poop. I am doing 50% water changes daily to get rid off the ammonia. Do you think that could be the problem. The ammonia is at 0.25 - 0.5 ppm. The tank is 105 litres and has 2 female and one male. It’s has two large sponge filters. Ahould I start putting some medication in? Also I have stopped feeding the last few days until the ammonia is 0. And the Red by the tail has noW gone after a hour.

Fungus eggs don't cause ammonia problems. Uneaten food and unhealthy or new filters do.

Don't add medication. Just do a 75% water change & gravel clean every day for a week. If there's no improvement after a few days or it looks like it's getting worse add some salt (1 heaped tablespoon per 20 litres of tank water.)

ye they sometimes go near the heater. Ammonia nearly over but there belly’s starting to get a but sunken from lack of food while dealing with ammonia. So need to start getting them fatten up
