5 Platys free to a good home. Aprox 8 weeks old.
Larger pic is mother. Near Bournemouth.

What did you feed them? Mine are around 5 weeks and are nowhere near that big!
heat can also determine growth rate, the more heat the faster the lifespan

Mix of flakes, tabs, sinkers, and frozen. They go nuts for blood worms! The rest of the day the pick at aufwuchs.
They may well be older than 8 weeks. that was a guess based on when I first noticed them in the tank.

Interesting. Do you mean that the whole lifecycle (growth, aging & death) is faster in a warmer environment?

Yes, that is what happens if you keep them warmer. But I assume that those pics shown overhere are just adults and not the juveniles the topic starter meant.
