Hi Feline, after Anna said Bristlenoses don,t eat hair algae I wanted to find out what type of algae I did have in my tank. From what I could make out although I still didn,t see the exact same algae in any pics is that I had some form of Brush or Horses hair algae growing from the driftwood in my tank. Whatever it was the Bristlenoses took care of it. Anyway I came across these little suckers (pardon the pun) on the florida driftwood site and they guarrantee these guys LOVE hair algae. I can,t tell you if they are available in your area/country but it might be worth looking into. Florida Flag Fish
