Food for Apistogramma macmasteri

I plan on buying Northfin Food Cichlid Formula 2Mm Pellet for my Macmasteri and cherry barbs (IK the cherry barbs will eat anything) Is there anything better for a well-balenced mean, or even two different products. One plant-based and one protein-based that I could provide a mix of​

I, for years, have always fed my fish a mixture of Omega One Cichlid Flakes and Ocean Nutrition Spirulina Flakes.

I do alternate with bloodworms, brine shrimp and other treats - but the staple are those two flakes. In my opinion my cichlids have excellent color and health, I think diet plays a good role in that.

Pretty much the other tanks get similar foods, just bigger sizes
