Howdy :)

In my 3ft (moderately) planted tank the majority of my plants are doing fine, I have a dual globe light with a Hagen Powerglo and a Marineglo and the total depth is 18", I also use Aquamaster plant fertiliser every week. The only thing I've really had trouble with is getting some fontinalis to spread, I picked up a small rock with some growing on it from work but it doesn't seem to be growing at all after nearly 3 weeks. However it isn't dying either, I'm thinking maybe a fish is picking at it? But as far as I can tell the only fish that would give it any trouble are my two bristlenose and my SAE, can anyone offer any tips?

Oh and for reference, other plants that are doing fine in there include Wisteria, Spath, Anubias, Blue Stricta (sorry I don't know the exact names)

you will probably find that it takes AGES to adapt and even longer to start growing rapidly from what I understand that fontinalis is one of the slowest growing mosses so patients is the key :)

Is this the same as what we call Willow moss? If so then I think it does better in lower temperature.

Yeah what what he said almost all mosses are big on there 20-22 temp range but this is not to say that they can and will survive at higher temps
