should i replace the 2 poly/carbon pads in my filter with 2 foam pads?

if your not using the carbon then yes i would. I actually did when i was using a U2, don't change them both at once though. Change 1 and wait a couple of weeks and change the other. The normal U2 sponges fit, you just have to trim a bit off the top.

Yeah I NEVER use carbon except for removing meds. Otherwise its just a huge waste of money.
