Fluval Edge

For those of you who own a Fluval Edge:

Is it me or does there seem to be a lot of heat radiating from the lights/fixture? Also, do these lamps come in blue lighting?

From what I remember they use a small halogen reflector bulb, so will give off more heat than conventional tubes. If you want to change the colour, there are probably different ones availabe from local hardware stores such as B&Q but make sure you get the right wattage if you want to try different bulbs.
