Fluval 305+ Powerhead Vs Fluval 305+ A Second External Filter

Hello

Now that my tank is stabilizing,i'm currently reasearching on how to improve the efficiency of the tank itself.
One of the thing i want to increase is the circulation inside the tank.
My doubt is i always planned to add a second external filter to my fluval 305, main reason was always to prevent accidents with faulty filters.
But with research and more knowledge the increase of circulation and distribution of co2 and nutrients in the tank as become important.
So wich should i go for?

MY current FLUVAL 305 + ANOTHER FILTER (more circulation, 2 filters in case one fails,and more filtration)
OR
My current FLUVAL 305 + Circulation pump (more circulation)

Wich one do you guys recomend? In case of the circulation pump how many litres hour should it make to be efficient together with my filter. Tank is 240 litre.

I have a 240 ltr and I use a 305 and a eheim 2213
The water is nice and clear and all the plants are swaying nicely in there
It all depends on cost if you can afford it go with another filter
More bio load plus movement

I personally would go for another external filter, but a lot of the planted people go for a powerhead one. Hydor seems to be one of the favourites atm.

Yes. I think i'm going for a second filter.
All my external filters so far have been fluval,but this time i'd like to use a diferent brand.
Thinking of going for the EHEIM. Been checking various filters they have. How's the 2213 BOX.Already read the info about it but i'd like the opinion of people that use it. I've checked some of the more expensive EHEIM they look amazing,but if the 2213 or another of the classic line could do the job i would go for it. After all with 2 filters running i think i won't be short of circulation in the tank the 305 is keeping the tank by itself the eheim is just to improve efficiency.

I like it mate using the spray bar helps with the movement
Just make sure you get the one with double taps as this helps with maintenance

I was suggested to go for the 2215. Found this one for sale.
What do you think?

Comes with the taps already.

How Much is it? The 2213 is around £69.99 in some places but it's up to you mate

Its 68.95 for the 2215. it comes with double taps and filter media. I found the 2213 for around 55£.
Think i'll go for the 2215.Together with the 305 it more than enough.

Yeah i'm going for the 2215+.
Already did the hardest part.Convince the missus i really need to spend money on another filter.
