fluff but nothing wrong with water

hey,
on my bogwood i keep getting white fluff in the same places and yet when i do a water test nitrites and nitrates are 0 and 10 and everything is fine,

Its a pretty nasty fungus. I had it also. It ended up creeping into the gravel. Once there i guess it just died and that made the water parameters all out of whack. I took the wood out and it took about 2 months of weekly vacuuming to get the crap out of the gravel. I suggest you remove it ASAP.

hmm interesting I have a bit of fluff on my bogwood in my 3G but the parameters are fine. I think I will remove it and gravel vac like you suggest.

i had that "fluf" on my drift wood also but it got nocked off and the filter ate it.

I had that on my bogwood as well. First night I put the Bristlenose in there it was gone.

Hmm well i've taken the bit of bogwood out of my 3G for the moment..... Dont want to risk anything with pygmy corys.

well seeing that my Mum, Dad and brother are out for the day and can take it out and put a lump of granite in and make as much mess as i can
i look forward to these days.
