Hey guys do flower horns only have that hump on their head when they are having babies? Also i think i may have had one of these, but are they extremely agrresive because the one i had or something that looked like it (since it had very nice different colors, a black spotted type blotched line going horizontaly, and the changing color eyes) killed my black shark that was 3 inches bigger than it and my barracuda that was 3 inches bigger than it.

looked a lot like the flowerhead in the 7th pic down in this post: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=73670

it's mostly in the gene(who were the parents)....when they do have a lump they do....when they don't they just don't

and they don't have it when they are mating only....it's always there.

this is a question for the hybrids forum, also the nuchal hump is common on male cichlids that have grown to a good size.

Please do not post questions about hybrids in the true Cichlid forums.

Okay sorry i thought it was a chiclid and i think mine might have been. Do you guys think thats what i had?
