I have a 29 gallon aquarium and am planning on using two 50 watt led floodlights on it. Would they be enough for growing carpeting plants like pearl weed and dwarf hairgrass? Thanks.

Ive seen these flood lights never used them but it would depend on the PAR at the substrate...

On the same light, aquarium co op got about 68 PAR on a 75 so it should be higher on a 29. Would that we considered good?

im assuming so, a 75 is a bit taller than a 29 so id imagine PAR at substrate for a 29 would be around 100. PAR is so subjective. Some charts say 30-50 PAR at substrate for low light plants, 50-70 for medium and 100 for high light plants.
Its just difficult to know without trying but if one has 100 PAR at substrate you should be good.

Yea. Well I guess I’m going to try it and see how it goes, thanks.
