I wonder if there was a floating plant that had roots that went all the way down the the bottom of the tank. I don't like the look of plants, such as frogbit, with all of the roots just dangling there. I want one that roots on the bottom and has like, 1 long root going up to the floating leaves.

Thanks!

if you want one long root why not look at lillys? its not a root but a stem. with a floating leaf
if not theres stuff like indian fern ( that almost reached the bottem of my tank) when it was floating. or stem plants with arial roots? they might root on the bottem.
