Does anyone know the best value for money place to get this? I know it's pretty slow growing and so that bumps the price up, however I had got 2 "cups" from plantedtanks.co.uk and they came yesterday, only to find each cup only had a tiny amount in, and I've got quite a large area to cover! And the fact that many places sell them as "pads" or whatever rather than loose which is how I need it lol. So I'm having a bit of a hunt about online, but just didn't know if anyone here had any experience buying it from somewhere?
Ta guys

If its expensive and you dont want to pay out why not grow it on something in your tank close to the surface as like a propagator, I dont it with java moss, only had a tiny amount and had it on some mesh close to the surface until it covered it then used it to cover a whole piece of slate in a 2" thick lush layer.

Currently I've got it on the mesh sitting on the glass brace bit under the hood, I think that should be humid enough for it. But I dunno how long it'll take to fill out because it is pretty slow growing stuff... :/ Considering just selling it on and doing it with something like willow moss or similar.

Trust me it wont take long, all of a sudden you'll notice its doubled. Every moss I grow from nothing is floated on plastic mesh and it grows so fast.

Hopefully it'll start to grow fairly quickly, but all fissidens species, fontanus especially, are renowned for taking a long time to grow. :) lol. I'm still looking for some more though as currently I only have about 1/6 of what I need
