Fishless Cycling?

Is fishless cycling really as good as people have been going on about sounds to me like a good idea. Where can i find instructions of how to do this as im putting my 3rd tank together tomorrow and dont want the dramas i had witht hte other 2.

So far so good... i used the add and wait method.. You have to be Patient, but its worth it.. i added a number of fish in one go last thursday, and my ammonia and nitrites have remained at a steady and healthy 0. That speaks volumes to me..

Also.. i didnt want the normal suspects of hardy fish that people use in my tank...

Go for it..

Squid..
 
I cycled my two tanks in 10 and 14 days respectively using this method. And all the fish were fine. Like Squid I wanted a wider choice of fish than the three or so "cycling species".
