Here is my recently (last week) rescaped tank, removed the tacky plastic decorations and gravel, and dove into my first planted tank!

Its a 40L "lovefish" aquarium, no modifications.
I used 1 large piece of wood and mixed sizes of dragon stone.
The soil i used was Tropica Soil, plants i planted were: Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini', Eleocharis acicularis, Hygrophila 'Siamensis 53B' and Hottonia palustris.
Dosing/fertilisers: Tropica premium nutrition, seachem flourish
Maintenance 20% change every 5 days, waiting on a algae scraper to come in the post tomorrow! but will be cleaned as needed.

It probably wont win, not expecting it to, but as a first scape and attempt at a planted tank im pretty happy with it (not artistic at all haha) just waiting on the dwarf hairgrass to carpet round the dragon stone xD

I think the staff should also enter.

It's been known, but most people have bouts of tanks looking good and bouts of....not, and not everyone goes for aquascapes, some are into fairly bare tanks with big fish, depends what you're into. Plus they'll worry that, if they win, people might complain.
