I just love watching jumping fishes...
I always wanted to get some...
So i am gathering info

Jumping fish are not really a good idea in a fish tank as they could easily jump out when you are not at home and die. Fish often only jump out of the water if they feel threatened, its more of a defense mechanism than a natural behavior.

If you want a fish that will hop along the bottom rather than swim around maybe look at some goby species?
