Fish Trouble

i found a weird looking red thing in my tank, it looks like an organ?!? i have an oscar fish and a blue dempsey cichlid. what is it? all i could think of was that my fish was a girl and it was on its period, hahaha. i have nio idea. the fish look fine and are acting normal but idk what this red organ kind of thing is?

please help me out

this stuff just lays on the bottom of the tank, sometimes floating around, it almost seems like an algea of some sort....
