Sorry if I'm kind of repeating myself as this was sort of covered when I asked the general question about stocking our 60l tank.

We have 3 male Platys and 5 Panada Corys so far.

We want to add 3 Guppys....can we have 3 female guppys or better to stick to male Guppys too?

Tim

stick to males - - they are after all the more attractive of the sexes for guppies. you will have no worries about surprise fry....if the female has come into contact with a male with in the last 6 months, she could still be storing his sperm and give you babies! to prevent this kind of headache....go for more boys! you can get some absolutely stunning color varieties with guppy males...reds, yellows, oranges, blues, snakeskin etc . . . scope out a few different stores to see what selection they have! :hyper:

I agree with Jenste. It can just become a huge headache trying to convince local shops or others to take your excess fry if you have any female livebearers. WD

OOO Pandas, nice choice. I'd haven't left enough room in my other stocking ideas for them (only Pygmys really) but I'd definitely be getting some if I could.

They are very cute, although I can't take the credit, they were my daughters choice.
