Fish Id Please, Dwarf Ram

Here's the fish in question, was bought by a friend from a LFS in an 'assorted ram' tank!

Blue Ram - Mikrogeophagus ramirezi

 
And it's female.

Yep, its a German Blue Ram.

Is it definitely a blue ram? I thought they had yellow/blue bodies and the Bolivians were more this colour?

I thought it might have been a cross breed!

Is that due to its young age?

It's stressed. It definitely not a Bolivian.
 
For comparison - These are two very colourful specimens for both species.

Defo a GBR, mate.

Just do a google image search and you'll see the difference between the Bolivian and the German. Once it's settled and less stressed the colours will become more apparent.
