Fish For A 29gal

That's a pretty open question... what interests you? A community tank, a cichlid tank, 2 goldfish, a blue lobster, a nano reef, dwarf puffers, ...???

I would like to ask this question also, I think I already have my 29 gallon planned out, but I am definetely open to suggestion!

The kind of fish I like:

Cichlids
South American Biotype
Southeast Asian Biotype
Loaches, Catfish

The fish I have planned out (still open to suggestions and comments!):

6 Three-Lined Corydoras (Corydoras trilineatus)
2 Bolivian Rams (Mikrogeophagus altispinosa)
3 Cherry Barbs (Barbus, Capoeta, or Punitus titteya)
4 Kuhli Loaches (Pangio Kuhli or Pangio myersi)
1 Dwarf Gourami (Colisa lalia)

I have a 29 Gal. with 2 Angels, 2 Dwarf Gouramis, 3 Ottos, and 4 Spotted cories (will be 6 as soon as I can find 2 more!) It is also planted pretty good. It works for me. :good:

DazedNCoNfUsEd, that sounds nice!

Cpt. Retardo, that's alot of bottom dwellers for a 29 gallon, isn't it? I would do either the cories or the khuli loaches (upping the school to 8+). I hear khulis are more active and lively in big schools. The rest sounds like a good mix. ;)

I find Barbs really fun and exciting. As well as cichlids though.

Ya, I guess...what about I take out the Kuhlis and add an Angelfish?

Edit-Or 6-8 Harlequin Rasboras?

I think ill do a pair of angels and a clown pleco because the only cichlids my lfs has are african and will need a bigger tank.
