@lockman yes, the filter was fully cycled its been running for about 2 years. I cycled this tank 2 years ago it's just recent that I decided to do a rescape because of the move.

The delay in reactivation of the bacteria shouldn't be too bad then.

So, is it safe to say that I can start putting in new fish into the aquarium? @lockman
 
Of course little by little.

No, it is still safest to test it first after adding ammonia (fish food) to make sure as 2 weeks is a long time and the bacteria may have starved and dropped way off. Was it still in water during this period?

Yes, the filter was still running. There were no fish in the tank though.
