My ammonia levels have finally leveled off after adding my BKG. Over the last week or so I've reduced the amount I've been feeding. Apparently I did it one day too long. My BKG made a snack out of parts of one of my platies. Time to increase feeding a little I guess.

I am aware of the BGK's max size. Currently he is small and living in a 20 gallon. I will be moving him to a much larger tank in the summer 05. The 20g should suffice until then.

I have been watching the nitrite levels and they have remained at 0 (they spiked when I initially cycled the tank, but after adding the new fish it stayed at 0). Between the bacteria that was already there and the bacteria that I added this must have been sufficient to keep up with the nitrite.
